From kilmarac at kdfs.net Mon Jun 30 19:51:21 2008 From: kilmarac at kdfs.net (Kilmarac Drago) Date: Mon, 30 Jun 2008 19:51:21 -0400 Subject: [KDFSnet] Farewell to a long time staffer Message-ID: <48697179.3040500@kdfs.net> It is with great dismay that I have accepted Jax's resignation from the network staff. Jax has been a longtime member of KDFSnet. He started out as a regular user from day 1 when KDFSnet went Live in 1999. His great attitude and willingness to help other users brought him to the staff's attention. It wasn't long before he was invited to be an Oper on the network in 2000. In 2006, Jax was moved up to work as a training admin on the Mystical server and took it over later that year. Throughout his school times, he continued to help the network grow and reach the point that it is at today. Unfortunately, as with all things, his time has come to an end. Jax has nearly reached the end of his schooling. With less than 12 months until he graduates, Jax is now focusing on finishing his schooling, and then embarking out into the real world to begin his life as that dreaded of all things... a contributing citizen. :-) Jax has been like a little brother to all of us long time geeks. We have been there through many phases of his life. We have been a part of his trials, and a part of his tribulations. We were there to cheer him on with his first girlfriend, and to stand proudly by his side when he graduated from high school. I can still remember the day I told jax that if I ever won the lottery, I would make sure that his college education was paid for. I guess if I ever do, Ill have to find out what his loans total. LOL All in all, jax has been a member of our little wacky family here on the network for nearly 10 years, and he will not stop being a part of it just because hes leaving the staff. I'm sure we will see him around the network, and of course, he will always be welcome back onto the staff for as long as KDFSnet exists. Jax - I only wish that I could give you more than words. I am immensely proud of your accomplishments, and I sincerely wish you the best of luck in the next phase of your life. I hope your still around on the network. Irregardless, you always have a place in #ircops. Kilmarac
